ODM TOPIC: FREED FROM DUBAI PRISON; DIED IN A LONDON ROAD!

 

A British teenager, Mr Marcus Fakana, who was jailed in Dubai for ‘having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl’ died in a car crash three months after he was released from a Dubai prison. Late Mr Fakana, who was 18 at the time of the relationship with the girl, received a royal pardon from Dubai ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in July 3rd 2025 after being sentenced to one year in prison. But today, he is dead! He died in his own country, not in a Dubai prison! Marcus, 19, was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed in Tottenham, north London, in the early hours of October 3rd 2025. The police said their officers had attempted to stop a car but after a 60-second chase, they lost sight of the vehicle and it was later found, crashed into a truck. Oh! That means Marcus was only free for three months from the 3rd of July until the 3rd of October 2025. Wow! I just wondered if STAYING IN JAIL in DUBAI could have kept him alive! Indeed, sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the best things! In life and ministry, bad days are just like one of those seasons that might look uncomfortable, but the undercurrent is that they are promoting your growth! Hear Loretta Young, “If you want a place in the sun, you have to expect a few blisters.” No wonder Samson was attacked by A LION. That was why he got to know that THERE WAS HONEY in every lion (today’s scripture vs. 8)! Sometimes we forget that it is the STORM that produces the RAINBOW and there is hidden good in every bad event! Many people will curse their adversities (delays, betrayals, stagnation, mockery, etc) but they forget that: The DARK CAVE you fear to enter may contain the TREASURE you seek! Would this young man be alive today if he was still in that Dubai jail? As we pray for his family, let us learn! Hold on in this year 2026 because something awesome is about to happen to you!
