✝️ Proverbs 16:1-3 (KJV)
¹ The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
² All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
³ Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
✝️ Luke 14:28-30 (KJV)
²⁸ For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
²⁹ Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
³⁰ Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

- Prayer for Divine Guidance
“O LORD our God, as it is written in Proverbs 16:1, the preparations of this heart are mine, but the answer of this tongue cometh only from Thee. Order my steps this day according to Thy perfect will.” -

“Almighty God, who weighest the spirits (Proverbs 16:2), search me and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts, that no wicked way may hinder Thy purpose for my life.” -

“Most High God, according to Proverbs 16:3, I do now commit all my works unto Thee. Establish Thou the thoughts of my heart, that all my plans may please Thee.”
