TOPIC: HE LOOKED AGAIN! REJECT DISTRACTIONS!
Basic Scriptures: Philippians 3: 12-14, 1 Timothy 1: 5-7
A man was driving on a busy road some time ago when he noticed a lady walking by the roadside dressed provocatively. He looked. And then he looked again! He became distracted and suddenly, he hit the vehicle in front of him. It cost him his time and his money, and he lost some respect from his newly employed staff.

What was his problem? DISTRACTION! Distraction is the thing that prevents someone from concentrating on something else! See Verse 6 of today’s 2nd scripture (KJV): “From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling.” Yes, sometimes the greatest key against distraction is to use distraction against distraction, but a man/woman who SWERVES from the truth of God’s Word concerning him/her will have a final destination called shame!
No wonder billionaire entrepreneur, Naveen Jain, said, “Great entrepreneurs focus intensely on an opportunity where others see nothing. This focus and intensity help to eliminate wasted effort and distractions. Most companies die from indigestion rather than starvation i.e., companies suffer from doing too many things at the same time rather than doing too few things very well.” Did you get that?
The key to progress is focus! The key to fulfilling destiny is focus! No wonder Paul declared: “… this one thing I do” (Philippians 3: 13). What is that “One thing” that God has called you to do?
