Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” He was talking about refusing to wait until “the coast is clear.” The only thing that should stop your next step or the only coast that should “clear” is your waiting to hear the voice of God (the next word or getting the divine green light) on any matter! However, like Patrick Overton opined, when you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen: 1. There will be a place to stand upon or, 2 – You will be taught how to fly. So why the fear to act? Do you know that even your mistakes are the raw materials for Jehovah God to re-write your story? If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door; take action and knock it! Move on! All things are possible!
