I remember the story of a man called Josef Fritzl who “loved” his daughter and two boys “so much” that he locked them up in an underground room for 24 years and regularly slept with his daughter! The daughter bore three children for him and lived an isolated life in three tiny underground chambers. The three children who lived in the cellar (underground room), a 19-year-old girl then and her two brothers, aged 18 and five, had never seen daylight, and grew up with artificial light in 24 years. Before he was sentenced to prison, Mr. Fritzl’s lawyer pleaded that the man had a problem of “DOMINATION, POWER, AND CONTROL” and what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is: Don’t Hold Anything Dearly As A “Do-or-die” Affair except your God/salvation. Don’t die because someone left your life! Let them go! Don’t be domineering on issues! Why would a man not allow his daughter to leave him and get married? Listen: In this year 2025, after doing all you know to do on any matter, including prayers, fasting, vows, seeds, living holy, etc, leave the outcome to God! He loves you and He knows best! A “DO-OR-DIE” attitude has pushed people into anxiety, worry, seeking for extra powers even by pastors, etc! Today’s 2nd scripture says: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.” All God requires of you is for you to maintain the vision of what you want and your faith/confidence that you will obtain it. The rest is up to God. He controls who is involved, when and where it will take place and how. Let go of the questions you can’t control and believe that God will make it all work out in the end — even better than you can imagine for your good! Yes! Until God Performs, Man Is Deformed!
