Many years ago, while the great missionary J. Hudson Taylor was faced with a particularly challenging situation on the mission field, he wrote a letter to his wife. And in that letter, he said, “WE HAVE TWENTY-FIVE CENTS – AND ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD!” Did you get that? He was saying that as long as he was standing on THE PROMISES OF GOD, ALL WOULD BE WELL! Wow! That should be your attitude as 2023 ends and 2024 begins; standing on THE PROMISES GUARANTEES YOUR TOMORROW! He reckoned himself to be rich because of the promises of God! See yourself as a success story because of the PROMISES OF GOD! Do You Know That People Are Too Lazy To Even Search Out These Promises? Remember That They Are In Pages 38 And 39 Of This Booklet! Hear Charles Wesley, “Faith, Mighty Faith, Sees The Promise, And Looks To God Alone; Laughs At Impossibilities, And Cries ‘It Shall Be Done.” Yea! IT SHALL BE DONE IF YOU HOLD ON! Let the promises of God stir up fresh faith and joy in your heart and let them strengthen you to deal with the challenges that come. When you hear the report that something is impossible, go into your closet and pick up your Bible and find out what the promises of God has to say about that thing. If You Can Find The Promises Of God That Can Be Applied To That Situation, Faith Will Grow In Your Heart And Turn That Impossibility Around. REJECT LAZINESS! Let’s close with the words of Charles Spurgeon, “The Assurance Of Every Truth Of Scripture Is Just The Beauty Of It. First, Because He Has Promised To Do It; And God’s Promises Are Bonds That Never Yet Were Dishonoured. Secondly, Because Christ Jesus Has Taken An Oath That He Will Do It.” God’s promises will never fail. Hold on! Hold out!
