It was Franklin D. Roosevelt who said, “When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.” Did you get that? The, “END OF YOUR ROPE” can mean a point when you are tired of waiting for God due to DELAY and His mysterious silence! Ah! It’s a very common experience especially if your destiny is GREAT! But it’s time to tie a KNOT and stubbornly hang on! Send an SMS or whatsapp message to someone and tell them,: “No matter the matter, JUST TIE A KNOT AND HANG ON! Don’t quit!” True, God sometimes DELAYS IN ANSWERING PRAYER! Jacob did not get the blessing from the angel until towards the dawn of day- he had to wrestle all night for it! The poor woman of Syrophoenicia was not given a reply for a long while by Jesus. Vs. 23 of today’s Scripture says, “But He answered her not a word…” Did she not laugh at last? Remember that when Lazarus died, Jesus took time before He acted (John 11:5-6)! Did Lazarus not rise at last? When the wine finished, did Jesus not take His time before bringing forth the best wine (John 2:4)? Why does God delay? If thou hast been knocking at the gate of mercy, and hast received no answer, refuse to quit! Isaiah 30:18 says, “Therefore will the Lord wait that He may be gracious unto you.” Ask not: “why me”? He waits to reveal His grace through you at last! Did you get that? His silence is not in vain! His silence is His GRACE PREPARATION hour! This is why you must not quit now! He conquers who endures! “Patience is genius” (Georges-Louis Leclerc). God’s delays are not God’s denials! Hold on, hold fast, hold out! WOW! Let God use you to bless the needy.
