TOPIC: THE DAY GOD CAME TO COURT AS A DEFENDANT OF A MAN! WATCH WHAT YOU SAY!
We are living in a dangerous generation where criticizing pastors and mocking spiritual leaders have become entertainment on social media! Remember Aaron and Miriam themselves spoke against Moses. These were not strangers; they were people close to him. They said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Has He not spoken also by us?” CATCH THIS: If you are in a place of authority, you will be criticized from time to time, especially by people FAMILIAR WITH YOU! Their complaint sounded intelligent and even “reasonable.” After all, God had spoken through them before too! But heaven saw something different; IT WAS CALLED REBELLION, and a dangerous familiarity with grace! Then God Himself came down suddenly! Ah! Nobody needed to defend Moses! The Lord rebuked Aaron and Miriam openly! Miriam became leprous, white as snow. What started as casual criticism ended in public judgment! Hear me: This does not mean spiritual leaders are perfect humans – no matter how genuine their callings are! No! No! No! Even Moses had weaknesses – AND HE MISSED THE PROMISED LAND! Wow! Be careful what your mouth says concerning those carrying divine assignments! If they are wrong, you will see how God will DEAL WITH THEM – Did Moses not miss the Promised Land? Mark Terry penned, “A mocking spirit can slowly destroy spiritual sensitivity and attract battles.” Never allow social media culture to turn your heart into a factory of criticism and dishonor. Don’t allow social media to attract CURSES INTO YOUR LIFE!People who constantly attack spiritual authority eventually weaken their own spiritual atmosphere! Pray for them and watch God correct or deal with them; but not you! Learn! Pray about this new month!
