TOPIC: THEY RAN PAST THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER! – 1
CLICK TO READ BASIC SCRIPTURE 29th OCTOBER 2026
Welcome to today’s devotional! A wise man once said, “Panic always pushes us away from provision.” Wow! Panic is the enemy’s favorite weapon to make you run past your miracle! I heard the story of a building that was on fire! Everyone was running helter-skelter in panic as the fire alarm rang out! The most interesting part of the story was that, There Was A Powerful Fire Extinguisher – Which No One Saw! Not One Person Saw It To Put It Into Action! As a matter of fact, it was reported that people even ran past the extinguisher many times! Did you get that? The very tool meant to stop the destruction in its track, was neglected in search of quick safety! Sadly, the building burnt to the ground with some casualties! They could have turned back the blaze, saved lives, protected property, but panic blinded them! Panic always pushes us away from provision, but faith pulls us back to power! 2 Timothy 1:7 declares: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” Remember the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3)! The fire was seven times hotter, the king raged, yet they did not panic or give in to the closest safety/exit they could get! Instead, they stood their ground and declared, “Our God is able to deliver us!” And the fourth Man – JESUS CHRIST – showed up! I am sent to announce to someone right now: JESUS CHRIST IS IN THE FIRE WITH YOU! No challenge/difficulty you are going through now will CONSUME YOU because, The Lord Jesus Christ Is The Consuming Fire! Stop the panic/fear concerning that sickness, bad dream, your age, medical report, delayed prayer answers, mockery by others, fear over your future, your financial story, that marital concern, or any other matter! You will NEVER end in shame… (Continues tomorrow).
