Hear this powerful truth: A child carrying a crate of eggs will not misbehave or be careless. He walks gently, avoids jumping, running, or fighting. Why? Because what he carries is precious and fragile. One wrong movement can destroy everything. If the eggs break, the value is lost! Ephesians 5:15 warns, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise.” In other words, walk carefully! Walk with wisdom! Learn delayed pleasure! Avoid business with family members! Avoid bitterness! Walk as if heaven is saying your life is too important for careless living! No wonder Joseph ran from Potiphar’s wife instead of playing with fire (temptation). Daniel refused to defile himself with the king’s meat because he knew that SOME DESTINIES WERE DELICATE! Nehemiah knew he was carrying an awesome divine assignment, so he said, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.” Ah! People who understand their purpose do not move/live anyhow! Many people behave carelessly because they have forgotten the value of what they carry! A person who understands that he carries glory and a great divine assignment cannot live recklessly! He becomes watchful over his/her words, actions, relationships and decisions! Destinies are crashing not because the devil is too strong but because they handled the treasure of heaven in their lives carelessly! Joseph ran! Daniel refused to EAT ANYHOW and Nehemiah stayed focused! They knew what they carried! I love the powerful words of Aaron Macpherson, “Anointing is expensive! The moment you stop walking carefully, you start leaking what cost Heaven everything.” Ah! The child with eggs is careful because he/she knows the cost of carrying the presence of GOD! There is a TREASURE in you! Guard it jealously! Carry your “eggs” with care! Pray now!
