Brevity is the soul of wit! Winston Churchill, British statesman and author, war prime minister from 1940 – 1945 and 1951-1955 once said: “Politics is almost as exciting as war and quite as dangerous! In war you can only be killed once, but in politics many times. The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes.” It is tough to listen to others speak! But it is great to know that you can learn from nearly everyone, including a fool. Moses complained to God that he was slow to speech and that he had a slow tongue (Exodus 4:10). Moses didn’t know that as far as heaven was concerned, the ability to talk less and listen more was a wonderful asset! Everyone should pray for that asset! Control your speech, and temperament as you step out today! Slow down! Talk less! Put a weight/string on your tongue. Be swift (quick) in hearing. Be swift in loving! Be swift in giving! Be swift in your job, but be slow in speech! Listen and listen this week! God will speak and drop great secrets into your life concerning the remaining part of this year 2026! Somebody you did not expect could be used by God to speak to you. The ‘donkeys’ could be used to speak to you! See beyond the donkey! See beyond heights, colour, academic stature or financial status, etc. God can use anything/anyone to speak! Listen! Listen and watch!
