A very good example is water and kerosene. There is nothing that can be done to mix these two fluids. THEY WILL ALWAYS STAY SEPARATED. That’s not all. Once kerosene enters into the same container as water, that water becomes practically useless. The faith of man is like that. It cannot mix with fear or worry over your tomorrow! It cannot operate in the presence of doubt and worry. Hear Jack Coe: “If you have worry, you do not have faith, and if you have faith, you do not have worry.” That was why Jesus warned the man in Luke 8: 50 – “Do not be afraid, only believe.” After Peter had walked on the sea for sometime, he was tempted to look at the wind and he began to doubt. Jesus told him later, “WHY DID YOU DOUBT?” I remember the words of Kenneth Copeland, “Fear tolerated is faith contaminated.” Wow! If you must speak, make sure your words are words of grace and faith. No matter how this year was, just hold on to your faith and secure your heart from every negative influence of doubt or worry! Ah!
