Be reminded of the story of a man who complained that his cross was too heavy. The young man was at the end of his longsuffering and delays! HE WANTED TO QUIT! Seeing no way out, he dropped to his knees in prayer: “Lord, I can’t go on,” he said. “I have too heavy a cross to bear.” The Lord replied, “My son, if you can’t bear it’s weight, just place your cross inside this room. Then open another door and pick any cross you wish.” The man was filled with relief. “Thank you, Lord,” he sighed, and did as he was told. As he looked around the room he saw many different crosses; some so large the tops were not visible. Then he spotted a tiny cross leaning against a far wall. “I’d like that one, Lord,” he whispered. And the Lord replied, “My son, that’s the cross you brought in.” Oh my God! HE DROPPED THE CROSS HE COULD NOT CARRY IN THE ROOM CALLED “GRACE.” Hear this: The will of God can never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you. God’s grace is sufficient for us anywhere His providence places us. Temptations are everywhere, and so is the grace of God. Grace grows by exercise and decays by disuse. Mike Foster opined: “Grace means that all of your mistakes now serve a purpose instead of serving shame.” There is no cross you cannot carry BY THE GRACE OF GOD because He is faithful (Cor. 1:9 ). Stop comparing yourself to others and refuse to live a life of self-pity/ murmuring/complaining (1 Cor. 10:10)! Any cross you see now is FOR A PURPOSE! It was the day I wanted to commit suicide that I discovered this ODM vision! I forgot THE GRACE of God! I also forgot that Jesus said, “It is finished.” As you look to the LORD and HOLD ON, no cross will be your graveyard! Amen and amen!
