Some years ago, on a particular evening as I wrote in a rural area of my country, I saw a little brown egg rolling around and suddenly, the curiosity of the writer in me took over my being! As I watched, I felt the chick bumping around inside the egg. I watched further and saw that the chick would peck and push for a few minutes, then sleep for 20 or 30 seconds and start pushing again.

At a stage, I felt sorry for the chick and wanted to help it crack the shell of the egg, but it dawned on me that the little unborn chick needed all that time of pushing and pecking and struggling so that it would have enough strength to make it through the night. The struggle would make it stronger!
About that time, there was one more push, and the egg broke in two and a sweet little pink, wet chick toppled right out! As I stood there, I knew the chick had no idea that I was watching, and it dawned on me that many times, that is the exact picture of our lives.
Our Heavenly Father watches over us just as I was watching that little chick and lots of times we wonder if He is really there! But verse 32 of today’s scripture says: “It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.” God deposits strength into our lives through the struggles He allows us to see! Oh, the pain of my suicide attempt years ago!
Indeed, sometimes, we wait for His needed word in a crisis and His silence is all we get! But the Holy Ghost wants you to know that: The Struggles You Are Allowed To Face Are Necessary For The Great Story That Is Being Written About You! Yea, What Happens To A Man Is Equal To That Man!
So, don’t forget, He cares and His silence contains His love! He knows when to step in and when to let us get stronger through each struggle. No matter how 2025 has been, stop crying or doubting God! Hear George Patton: “Courage is fear holding on a minute longer.” Hold on more to God a little longer! He is re-writing your full story which will be a bestseller! Amen and Amen!
