PART TWO: COMMENTARY FOR DAY 19
The Question That Awakens Faith
Pastor Jerry Eze opens Day 19 with two penetrating questions:
“WHO IS THAT MOUNTAIN BEFORE YOU?”
“WHAT IS THAT MOUNTAIN STANDING IN YOUR WAY?”
These questions are not meant to intimidate but to identify. You cannot remove what you refuse to recognize. You cannot crush what you refuse to confront. The first step to mountain-moving is mountain-naming.
The mountain is whatever stands between you and your destiny. It is the obstacle that has refused to budge. It is the problem that has outlasted your prayers. It is the challenge that has mocked your faith. Today, you must look it in the face and ask yourself: Who is this mountain? What is its name?
The Awakening of the Mountain-Crusher
Then comes the declaration: “AWAKE MOUNTAIN-CRUSHER!”
This is not a prayer to God; it is an awakening of the believer. There is something inside you that has the capacity to crush mountains. It is the Spirit of the Living God. It is the faith of the Son of God. It is the authority of the child of God.
You are not meant to live under mountains. You are meant to live over them. You are not designed to be buried by obstacles; you are designed to crush them. Today, that mountain-crushing dimension within you is awakened.
The Zerubbabel Principle
The scripture foundation is Zechariah 4:7. Zerubbabel faced a great mountain—the task of rebuilding the temple amidst opposition, discouragement, and limited resources. But God’s word to him was clear: the mountain would become a plain.
“Who art thou, O great mountain?”
This is a rhetorical question that diminishes the mountain. When you speak to your mountain in faith, you are not acknowledging its power; you are asserting its insignificance. The mountain is not “great” in the sense of unbeatable; it is “great” only in the sense of visible. But before Zerubbabel, it becomes a plain.
“Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain.”
The mountain does not become a plain before the enemy. It does not become a plain before circumstances. It becomes a plain before YOU—the child of God, the one anointed to build, the one called to complete the task.
“He shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.”
The headstone represents completion. What started with Zerubbabel will be finished by Zerubbabel. And the shout that accompanies the completion is not “Strength, strength!” or “Money, money!” or “Connections, connections!” but “GRACE, GRACE!”
Grace is the unmerited favour of God. Grace is the divine enablement that makes the impossible possible. Grace is what turns mountains into plains. Grace is what ensures that the headstone is brought forth.
The Mountains We Will Crush
Pastor Jerry lists ten specific mountains that must be removed:
1. Mountain Of Impossibility
What human reasoning says cannot be done. What doctors say cannot be healed. What economists say cannot be funded. What history says cannot be repeated. This mountain falls today.
2. Mountain Of Shame
The embarrassment of your past. The humiliation of your failure. The disgrace that has attached itself to your name. Shame is not your portion; glory is.
3. Mountain Of Stubborn Diseases
Sicknesses that have resisted treatment. Conditions that have defied medicine. Illnesses that have outlasted prayer. These diseases are not stronger than the blood of Jesus.
4. Mountain Of Family Limitation
Barrenness, poverty, failure, and stagnation that run in bloodlines. Patterns that repeat from generation to generation. Today, the cycle is broken.
5. Mountain Of Addiction
Every substance, habit, or behaviour that has mastered you. Chains that have held you captive. Bondage that has stolen your freedom. Addiction must bow.
6. Mountain Of Going Around In Circles
Progress that never arrives. Movement that never advances. Labour that never yields fruit. The cycle of “almost there but not quite” is broken today.
7. Mountain Of Witchcraft
Every satanic manipulation, every demonic manipulation, every evil manipulation designed to control your destiny. The power of darkness is shattered by the light of Christ.
8. Mountain Of Demonic Enchantments
Spells, incantations, and evil prayers spoken against you. Every word of darkness loses its power today.
9. Mountain Against Businesses
Struggling enterprises, failing ventures, profitless efforts. Every hindrance to your business success is crushed.
10. Mountain Against Families
Marital strife, rebellious children, generational conflicts. Peace and unity are restored.
PART THREE: PERSONALIZED PRAYERS FOR DAY 19
Prayer 1: Awakening the Mountain-Crusher
Father, I thank You for this Day 19 of 28 Days of Wonders. I thank You that I am not a victim of mountains; I am a crusher of mountains. Today, I awaken the mountain-crushing dimension within me.
I stir up the gift of God within me. I stir up the faith of the Son of God. I stir up the authority of the child of God. I am not intimidated by the size of my mountain; I am energized by the greatness of my God.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 2: Confronting the Mountain of Impossibility
You mountain of impossibility standing before me—I speak to you in the name of Jesus! Who do you think you are? You have stood long enough. You have blocked long enough. You have mocked long enough.
I declare that before me, you shall become a plain. Every wall of impossibility crumbles now. Every barrier of impossibility breaks now. Every obstacle of impossibility is removed now.
What men call impossible, my God makes possible. What experts call hopeless, my God turns around. What history says cannot happen, happens today.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 3: Crushing the Mountain of Shame
Father, I bring before You every mountain of shame in my life. Shame from my past. Shame from my mistakes. Shame from my failures. Shame from my family background. Shame from what people said about me.
Today, I receive Your promise: for my shame, I receive double honor. Instead of confusion, I rejoice in my portion. The garment of shame is removed, and I am clothed with the garment of praise.
I declare that shame is far from me. Disgrace is far from me. Embarrassment is far from me. I am covered with the glory of God.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 4: Destroying the Mountain of Stubborn Diseases
You mountain of stubborn disease—I command you to be removed! You have resisted treatment, but you cannot resist the blood of Jesus. You have defied medicine, but you cannot defy the Great Physician.
Every cancer cell, die now.
Every tumor, dissolve now.
Every infection, clear now.
Every pain, cease now.
Every sickness, leave now.
By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed. By the wounds of Christ, I am whole. By the resurrection power, I am restored.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 5: Breaking the Mountain of Family Limitation
Father, I come against every mountain of limitation in my family line. Barrenness that has stolen children from my ancestors—break now! Poverty that has kept my family in lack—break now! Failure that has followed my bloodline—break now! Stagnation that has held my generations—break now!
I declare that my family is blessed. My children are for signs and wonders. My marriage is a testimony of faithfulness. My lineage is marked by greatness.
Every limitation is removed. Every curse is broken. Every pattern is shattered. I am the generation that breaks through.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 6: Demolishing the Mountain of Addiction
You mountain of addiction—I speak to you in the mighty name of Jesus! You have held me long enough. You have controlled me long enough. You have stolen my freedom long enough.
Today, I break every chain of addiction. Alcohol, lose your hold. Drugs, lose your power. Pornography, lose your grip. Unhealthy habits, lose your control.
I am free indeed! Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 7: Stopping the Mountain of Going Around in Circles
Father, I cry out to You—deliver me from the mountain of going around in circles. I have labored and not gained. I have moved and not advanced. I have sown and not reaped.
Today, I break the cycle. I refuse to repeat the same mistakes. I refuse to stay stuck in the same level. I refuse to circle the same mountain one more time.
My progress is activated. My advancement is decreed. My forward movement is established. I am going forward and never backward.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 8: Crushing the Mountain of Witchcraft
Every mountain of witchcraft raised against me—I crush you now by the blood of Jesus! Every satanic manipulation, every demonic manipulation, every evil manipulation designed to control my destiny—I command you to FAIL!
I am covered by the blood. I am protected by the fire of the Holy Ghost. I am sealed by the power of the Most High. No enchantment against me shall prosper. No spell against me shall stand. No curse against me shall remain.
The power of darkness is broken. The authority of the enemy is nullified. The weapons of witchcraft are destroyed.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 9: Destroying Demonic Enchantments
Father, I bring before You every demonic enchantment spoken against me. Every word of darkness. Every prayer of the enemy. Every incantation of evil. Every spell cast in secret.
I declare them null and void by the blood of Jesus. I declare them powerless by the fire of the Holy Ghost. I declare them reversed by the power of the Most High.
What the enemy meant for evil, turn for my good. What was spoken to curse me, become a blessing. What was designed to destroy me, become a testimony.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 10: Lifting the Mountain Against Businesses
Father, I lift up my business, my career, my work before You. Every mountain standing against my success—be removed! Every hindrance blocking my progress—be destroyed! Every obstacle limiting my growth—be crushed!
I declare that my business thrives. My career advances. My work prospers. Customers come. Contracts are signed. Profits increase. Doors open.
I am not struggling; I am succeeding. I am not surviving; I am thriving. I am not barely making it; I am abundantly supplied.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 11: Breaking the Mountain Against Families
Father, I pray for my family. Every mountain against my marriage—be removed! Every mountain against my children—be crushed! Every mountain against my home—be destroyed!
I declare peace over my family. Unity over my household. Love over my marriage. Protection over my children. Provision over my home.
No weapon formed against my family shall prosper. Every tongue rising against my household is silenced. The blessing of the Lord rests upon us.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
PART FOUR: DECLARATIONS FOR DAY 19
Declare these aloud with authority:
I DECLARE that I am a mountain-crusher! Every mountain before me becomes a plain!
I DECLARE that impossibility is removed from my vocabulary. With God, all things are possible!
I DECLARE that shame is far from me. I am clothed with glory and honor!
I DECLARE that every stubborn disease in my body is healed by the stripes of Jesus!
I DECLARE that family limitation is broken. My generation moves forward!
I DECLARE that addiction loses its hold on me. I am free indeed!
I DECLARE that I am done going around in circles. I am moving forward!
I DECLARE that witchcraft has no power over me. I am covered by the blood!
I DECLARE that every demonic enchantment against me is reversed!
I DECLARE that my business thrives and prospers!
I DECLARE that my family is blessed, protected, and united!
I DECLARE that this mountain—the one I have named before God—MUST BE REMOVED!
I DECLARE that grace, grace is upon my completion. What God started, He will finish!
I DECLARE that I will bring forth the headstone with shouting!
I DECLARE that Day 19 marks the beginning of my mountain-crushing season!
PART FIVE: PROPHETIC ACTIONS FOR DAY 19
- Write Down Every Mountain – Take a sheet of paper and write down every mountain standing before you. Be specific. Name them. Identify them. Bring them into the light.

Declare Over Each Mountain – One by one, speak to each mountain and declare: “Who are you, O great mountain? Before me, you shall become a plain!”

Shout Grace, Grace – As you envision the completion of what God has started, shout “Grace, grace!” This is not the shout of struggle but the shout of victory.

Keep Your Mantle Close – Your mantle represents your covering, your authority, your identity. Keep it with you throughout this day.

Share the Fire – Call someone. Send these prayers to a friend. Your breakthrough is connected to someone else’s faith.
PART SIX: CLOSING PRAYER
Father, I thank You for Day 19. I thank You for the grace to identify my mountains and the authority to crush them.
Today, I receive the mountain-crushing anointing. I receive the Zerubbabel grace. I receive the shout of completion.
Every mountain before me—impossibility, shame, disease, limitation, addiction, cycles, witchcraft, enchantments, business struggles, family battles—I command you to BE REMOVED!
Who are you, O great mountain? Before me, you shall become a plain! I will bring forth the headstone with shouting, crying, GRACE, GRACE!
This mountain must be removed. And by the power of the Holy Ghost, IT IS REMOVED!
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
AMEN AND AMEN!
