BASIC SCRIPTURE: PSALM 145:15-20 (KJV)

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

PRAYER POINTS

Father, I wait upon You. Open Your hand and satisfy the desire of my soul in due season.

Lord, I thank You that You are righteous in all Your ways and holy in all Your works. I trust Your character and Your timing.

Father, I call upon You in truth. Let me know that You are nigh unto me, and let me experience Your nearness.

Lord, I fear You. Fulfil the desire of my heart, hear my cry, and save me from every trouble.
-
Father, preserve me because I love You. Let me not be numbered among the wicked whom You will destroy.

Lord, I receive Your promise that I shall not labour in vain nor bring forth for trouble. My work shall be fruitful.

Father, I am the seed of the blessed of the LORD. Let my offspring and my legacy be blessed.

Lord, I thank You that before I call, You answer; and while I am yet speaking, You hear. Let me experience this swift answer to my prayers.
DECLARATIONS

I declare that the eyes of the Lord are upon me, and He gives me my meat in due season. I am not forgotten.

The Lord opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. He satisfies me.

The Lord is righteous in all His ways and holy in all His works. His way with me is always good.

The Lord is nigh unto me because I call upon Him in truth. He is near, not distant.

He fulfils the desire of them that fear Him. He hears my cry and saves me.

The Lord preserves me because I love Him. I am kept safe in His hand.

I shall not labour in vain. My work shall bring forth fruit that remains.

Before I call, God answers. While I am yet speaking, He hears. My prayers are answered.
ADDITIONAL REFLECTION
Key Verse (Psalm): Psalm 145:18 — “The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”
Key Verse (Isaiah): Isaiah 65:24 — “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
The Eyes of All Wait Upon Thee (Psalm 145:15):
This verse speaks of universal dependence. All creation looks to God for provision. The eyes of all wait upon Him. He gives them meat in due season. He is not late. He is not forgetful. He supplies at the right time. The waiting is not in vain. God sees. God knows. God provides.
The Open Hand (Psalm 145:16):
God opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. He is generous. He is not stingy. He does not hold back. He gives. He satisfies. His hand is open to you. He delights to meet your needs.
The Nearness of God (Psalm 145:18):
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him. He is not far away. He is not distant. He is close. But there is a condition: we must call upon Him in truth. Not with hypocrisy. Not with empty words. With truth. With sincerity. With a heart that truly seeks Him. Then He draws near.
The Fear of the Lord (Psalm 145:19):
God fulfils the desire of them that fear Him. The fear of the Lord is reverence, awe, and submission. It is not terror. It is a love that honours Him. And for those who fear Him, He hears their cry and saves them. He is not deaf to their pleas. He is a God who saves.
The Preservation of the Lord (Psalm 145:20):
The Lord preserves all them that love Him. He protects. He guards. He keeps. But the wicked are destroyed. There is a distinction. The path of love leads to preservation. The path of wickedness leads to destruction. Choose love. Choose preservation.
No Vain Labour (Isaiah 65:23):
God promises that His people shall not labour in vain. They will not work for nothing. They will not bring forth children only to see them destroyed. They are the seed of the blessed of the Lord. Their children are blessed. Their work is fruitful. Their labour is not wasted. God blesses the work of their hands.
Before They Call, I Will Answer (Isaiah 65:24):
This is one of the most extraordinary promises in Scripture. Before you call, God answers. While you are yet speaking, He hears. He does not wait until you finish your prayer. He anticipates your need. He responds before you ask. This is the intimacy of God with His people. He knows what you need before you ask. He moves before you speak. His ear is attentive. His hand is ready. His answer is on the way — even before the words leave your mouth.
Question for the Day:
Are you waiting on the Lord with open eyes and an open heart? Do you call upon Him in truth? Do you fear Him and love Him? And do you believe that He answers before you even call?
