ODM TOPIC: HE FREED PRISONERS WHO CRIED: “SEND US BACK TO JAIL!”

In mid-2024, about 1700 prisoners were freed from British and Welsh jails as a part of the UK Government’s plans to ease overcrowding in prisons! But as soon as many were freed, they returned to the probation officers with cries of, “NO HOPE OUTSIDE! TAKE US BACK TO JAIL!” Most of the prisoners said that their lives in prison, with three meals and stable accommodation, was better than life in a wider society. Amazing! But even as men are preferring JAILS TO FREEDOM, the Holy Ghost wants you to remember what the Jews told Moses in today’s scripture verse 12 – “Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.” Wow! They preferred to DIE IN BONDAGE AND SLAVERY THAN TRUST GOD FOR FREEDOM! Ah! In this year 2025, determine that YOU WILL NOT GO BACK TO EGYPT! Determine that you will not carry any of the devil’s properties in your life, family and ministry! Yea! Determine that YOUR LIFE AND MINISTRY WILL NOT ADVERTISE THE DEVIL! Tell the devil that you will not return to your old life and vomit! REFUSE TO GO BACK TO EGYPT! Follow the LORD with a NEW FIRE this year!
