But are you also aware, that whatever good you do, also has a reward? That means the RIGHTEOUS will also never escape POSITIVE REWARDS! Proverbs 11:25 (NIV) says “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” You cannot be igniting other people’s candles and remain in the dark! Never! At a restaurant, a man and his wife who were facing severe financial hardship, asked the waitress, Sarah, to serve them the cheapest meal on the menu. After eating, when it was time to pay, Sarah stunned them by revealing that she had already covered their bill. On top of that, she gifted them $100, despite her own pressing financial need. Everyone at home hurled insults at Sarah. They quarrelled on the fact that she needed more money. When her mother called her, Sarah picked the call, ready for more bashing. The next thing she heard was “Sarah, what did you do? The whole internet is agog.” Wow! Somebody praised her! Sarah’s act of kindness had been shared online and was trending!
