Continued from yesterday’s devotional! God listened patiently to the argument of the scientists and then said, “Very well, let’s have a man-making contest. We’ll do it just like I did back in the old days with Adam.” The scientists agreed, and one of them bent down and picked up a handful of dirt. God looked at him and said, “No! You have to make your own dirt (sand).” But they could not! Yes! As a pharmacist, I know that humans can create sand through a process called “manufactured sand” (also called “M-SAND”). It is done by crushing rocks! BUT WHO CREATED THE ROCKS? Ah! No matter how things have been with you, NEVER GIVE UP ON TRUSTING this God – JEHOVAH! He is EL SHADDAI; the all-Sufficient God! He is JEHOVAH-JIREH — The Lord your Provider (today’s scripture)! He is JEHOVAH-ROPHI — The Lord your Healer! He is JEHOVAH-NISSI — The Lord your Banner (cover) from disgrace! He is JEHOVAH-SHALOM –The Lord your Peace, even in the midst of the storms of life! Oh! Hear Sherrilyn Kenyon: “Life isn’t finding shelter in the storm. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” Then I remember Og Mandino: “I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.” In this year 2025, TRUST THIS GOD! That RED SEA and fearful ROAR OF LIFE will bow and you will testify! Hold on and hold out!
