Verse 4 of today’s scripture explains the fact that
CONNECTING TO THE VINE (Christ) makes you to attract (collect) POWER. In John 15:4, Jesus said, “Abide in Me and I in you, as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides
in vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me.”
A BRANCH CARRIES WHATEVER THE VINE IS CARRYING! So, If The Vine Has Power (Virtue), Then You The Branch Are Also Carrying Power (Virtue)! Your Only Guarantee Of CONSTANT POWER FLOW Is Constant Connection To The Vine! Constant connection is the formula for constant collection of “EXHOUSIA” (divine authority)!
You have to make a plan on how to keep a daily appointment with God, so that you can become a POWER (EXHOUSIA) CARRIER. The enemy is going to tell you that you are too busy! He will tell you that the economy is hard and you must keep getting busy! Busy! Busy!
You must resist him and carve out the time TO BE ALONE WITH GOD VIA YOUR BIBLE AND THIS ODM DEVOTIONAL. If you abide in the vine, the spirit of subtraction will never know your address because everything in the vine will be added to you! If you abide in the Vine, your brook of virtue shall not dry up!
Ask Elijah. If the Vine is unbeatable, you, the branch will remain unbeatable! If the Vine is unstoppable, you are also unstoppable. Repent and start a daily, disciplined connection plan to the LOVER of your soul! Close with this: “Aim at Heaven and you also will get virtue (earthly favour) thrown into your life; aim at earth and you will get neither.” (CS.Lewis).
