She was a Gentile living in the region of Tyre where Jesus was visiting. Our Daily Manna 13 June 2023 – LORD, SHAKE THE TABLE CLOTH!
Since she was not part of the nation of Israel, Jesus declined to deliver her daughter from an unclean spirit when she fell at His feet and begged Him; instead Jesus told her: “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
The “children” meant the children of Abraham. The “bread” meant heavenly blessings and grace. The word “dogs” used in this passage stands for a little pet dog or the type that sits under the table and begs for crumbs!
Her reply in Vs. 28 was however astonishing: “And she answered and said unto Him, ‘Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.”

She knew that only one crumb could heal her daughter and Jesus immediately changed the rule for her sake and turned her life into a “LAND OF RESULTS.” Hear what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional: A “No” Does Not Always Mean A “No.”
A Delay Does Not Always Mean A Delay! This woman held on despite the initial refusal/delay of Jesus! Oh, the blessings on the table fell upon her because her faith shook the table cloth!
That’s exactly what will happen to you this year if you determine to push aside discouragement and determine to WAIT UPON THE LORD! Yes, each time you hold on and pray again, heaven will shake the tablecloth and your blessings will locate your address!
Always remember: WHAT GOD CANNOT DO CANNOT BE DONE! Hold on and hold out! Pray seriously now! (Help Someone Win! Give Them ODM). On Saturday, June 24th 2023 we must all do a charity work worldwide! Show mercy!
