Eisenhower, says: “Neither a wise man nor a brave man lies down on the tracks of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him.” If you will enjoy a good future, you must make today pay the price for that! Listen to Roger Babson: “Let him who would enjoy a good future waste none of his present.” If you want to know what the future really holds for you, pay attention to what you are doing today. Three areas are crucial in predicting your future: 1. What are you doing with YOUR TIME? 2.W hat are you doing with YOUR MONEY, and 3.What are you doing with THE PEOPLE GOD HAS PLANTED IN YOUR LIFE? If you don’t learn the secret of making prudent use of what you have today, your future may not be secure. For ants, nothing is too small to save. That should be your philosophy. After your Tithe and giving to God’s work and the poor (the needy), nothing is too small to save. Joseph established that and made it a law in the land of Egypt. He set up storehouses all over the land of Egypt and saved up lots of grains during the seven years of plenty. He kept on saving. He didn’t even entertain the thought of, “We have saved enough; let’s stop saving.” If he had not learnt to do this, the famine would have swallowed up the land and probably wiped mankind off the face of the earth. The Future Belongs Only To People Who Are Prepared For It. There is one thing you must keep in mind; there are two people that will determine the course of events of the future: The people who will thrive and reign, and people who will struggle! I pray that you will be in the first class of people. To be in that class, you have to start preparing now. Stop depression, worry or self-hate! Stop comparing yourself to others! Do something today to guarantee your success tomorrow. Do something today to guarantee that you will not lack for any good thing tomorrow.
