TOPIC: HABITS: THE GRAVEYARD OF MANY!
BASIC SCRIPTURE: PSALM 1:1-6
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

UNFORTUNATELY SO IS LOSING.” Just as you have habits that can make you and raise you to your place of destiny and glory, there are habits that you must avoid if you don’t want to be put to shame. As 2021 ends and 2022 begins, examine your life daily! What are those habits that you have cultivated and how much impact are they having in your life?
I love the words of L.G. Elliot: “The long span of the bridge of your life is Supported by countless cables called habits, attitudes, and desires. What you do in life depends upon what you are and what you want. What you get from life depends upon how much you want it? How much you are willing to work and plan and cooperate and use your resources.
The long span of the bridge of your life is supported by countless cables that you are spinning NOW, and that is why today is such an important day. Make the cables strong! And you get that? MAKE THE CABLES STRONG! Form good habits! Today’s Scripture outlines one of the most important habits (Cables) that contribute to success: What you think about every day. To guarantee your success in everything you do, you must HABITUALLY MEDITATE ON THE WORD OF GOD.
It’s something that you must do every day no matter how busy you are! God told Joshua to meditate in the book of the law day and night and by so doing, he would make his own ways prosperous and he would have good success.
BAD HABITS have BURIED MILLIONS who should have been stars! Some have been buried in the graveyard of moral failure and sexual sins! Others are buried in the satanic habits (graveyard ) of procrastination, excessive sleeping, watchng TV, SoCial media, borrowing, living above their means, unforgiveness, etc!
