BASIC SCRIPTURE: JOB 2:1-10
1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.
9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

YESTERDAY ODM==>Our Daily Manna 23 February 2021- HE SAT ON ASHES 1
Vs 7 of today’s scripture says: “So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.” Vs8: “And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.” Vs9: “Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.” Note Vs. 8 again: he sat down among the ashes. Ashes in the Bible is a symbol of shame, defeat and losses! Ashes mean that the FIRE and the GLORY IS GONE! So, when Satan attacked Job and burnt all that he had laboured for, all that was left were ASHES! Remember that there was a man who sat on kingly thrones and chairs Here was a rich man that dressed with apparels of the rich and mighty! Here was a man who was once the head and not the tail-HE WAS THE RICHEST MAN IN THE EAST! Suddenly he was brought LOW AND HE WAS REVERSED (demoted) FROM GLORY TO ASHES! In this New year, the LORD Is telling me to inform you that He has programmed your RAISE from ASHES to your THRONE! The LORD is saying to 12, 810 users of today’s devotional: “In this New year, THOSE THAT SAW YOU AMONG THE ASHES SHALL SEE YOU AMONG THE GREAT! THOSE THAT SAW YOU AMONG THE ASHES SHALL SEE YOU AMONG THE DANCERS OF JOY! Yea, they that have secretly mocked you shall see your OPEN LIFTING AND HONOUR shall come upon you! I shall do a thing that will silence all for good. I shall raise you up! I shall raise you out! I shall do it again.” Oh, worship the LORD NÓW! Thank God that the LORD turned the captivity of Job and the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before! That shall be your story! – Our Daily Manna 24 February 2021
ASHES CANNOT BE THE LAST CHAPTER OF YOUR DESTINY! No matter how the past years have been. refuse to sit down in the ASHES OF THE PAST! LÓOK UP! TRUST GOD AGAIN and HOLD ON! - Eating ashes means DEMOTION, STAGNATION or DEFEAT! Decree it again: In 2021. I shall not EAT ASHES in Jesus’ name.
