LEARN FROM POPULOUS NO!
BASIC SCRIPTURE: NAHUM 3: 1-8
Vs. 8 of today’s scripture talks of a city called “NO.” It was very populated and a great city in the land of Egypt (Jer. 46:25). Vs.8 – “Art thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea?”

The LORD was telling lsrael that NO’s large population did not save her from destruction. The LORD was telling Israel that NO’s hedge and BIG MEN/WOMEN, did not save her from destruction. Yes! Your Father God was telling Israel that NO’s connections and rich commerce/ports (situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it) did not save her from destruction.
And oh, what the Holy Ghost is telling a user of today’s devotional is: DO NOT TRUST IN YOUR WEALTH! DO NOT TRUST IN THE PROMISES OF MEN! Trust in God and in Him alone! Vs. 9 says: “Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength, and it was infinite; Put and Lubim were thy helpers. OUR DAILY MANNA 29th September 2021 – LEARN FROM POPULOUS NO!
Then Vs. 10 gives the summary: Yet was she carried away, she went into captivity: her young children also were dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets: and they cast lots for her honourable men, and all her great men were bound in chains. Isaiah 2: 22 says: “Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils. for wherein is he to be accounted of?
TRUST IN HIM THAT MANUFACTURES THE BREATH OF MEN! Catch this: BECAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST, BECAUSE THE DEVIL WAS ONCE AN ANGEL! See Psalm 56:4- ” In God I will praise of His Word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Rick Warren said: The more you believe and trust God, the more limitless your possibilities become for your family, career and your life.”

Close with this: I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your right atütude; if you are grateful, you will see God open new doors. TRUST GOD! LOOK TO HIM ALONE! WAIT FOR HIS TIMING/scason! HOLD ON AND HOLD OUT and you will NEVER end up in shame. Always remember Populous NO!
