Begin today’s devotional by declaring the following statement many times now: “Planning is good, but destiny is better.” Yes, in 2026, God wants you to understand that He allowed you to be alive for a purpose and He can interrupt YOUR PLANS from time to time! Even if you have great troubles, conflict, stress or tribulation, understand that you did not choose yourself! Nobody chooses destiny! It is destiny that chooses you! Most times, your troubles describe your destiny! The Book of John was written after a similar circumstance of a storm; it could be a disappointment, a betrayal, a loss, a church mess, a divorce, a bankruptcy, etc. There are times when God will interrupt your life with something called destiny! In the past, you made your plans and had your dreams – how you wanted to live. Then all of a sudden, everything fell apart. You probably didn’t get to the university! You did not get the contract/business/job despite all your efforts! You did not get the husband/wife you actually wanted as at when due, etc. You then thought that life was over! The thing about God is that He doesn’t quite care about your plans as the ultimate! Before you had plans, He had a destiny for you! God interrupted the plans of Moses, Abraham, Paul, Jeremiah, myself, Bishop Chris (my plan was to practise pharmacy for life; but God asked me to resign just after 10 years as a pharmacist. He had another plan). And lots of other men/women on planet earth yesterday and today passed through this route! As far as God is concerned, you are an “elect lady” and loved by divinity (vs. 1 of today’s 2nd John scripture)! God’s love will screen your plans and align them with His destiny for you! Psalm 3:3b talks about God as, “the lifter up of your head.” In 2026, weapons might be formed against your destiny, but they will never prosper because that thing called, “destiny” is not perishable! When God interrupts your plans sometimes through problems, it is because He wants to STAMP a higher SIGNATURE on you! Hold on! Our Daily Manna Devotional For 29th March 2026
