PRAYER AND FASTING CAUSES WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING TO BLOSSOM – Bishop David Oyedepo

Now, secondly, the last days are the days of the manifestation of the manifold wisdom of God. The last days are the days of the manifold wisdom of God in operations. But wisdom from above is also facilitated by prayer and fasting, among others.

Remember, the last days are the days of enthronement of the Church. Psalm 110:1-3; Proverbs 8:15. So the last of the days of wisdom from above that enthrones. Sermon Times. We saw this in the example of Daniel. He was a man given to a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. And he was as it were heaven’s wisdom bank on the Earth.

Daniel chapter 9:3-4: “And I set my face unto the Lord God to seek by prayer and supplication with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.” Now watch verse two: “In the first year of the reign, I Daniel understood by books.” Now, so there’s a search in there. “Now I set myself in prayers and supplications with fasting.” Sermon Times. Verse four: “And I prayed unto the Lord my God and made my confessions and said, ‘Oh Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant of mercy to them that love Him and to them that keep His commandments.'”

Now verse 22: “And he informed me and talked with me and said, ‘Oh Daniel, I’m now come forth to give this skill and understanding.'” He got it from the altar of prayer and fasting. Verse 23: “And at the beginning of thy supplications, the commandments came forth, and I’m come to show thee…” He shows people in the course of prayer and fasting. It causes wisdom and understanding to blossom on any subject matter that you need to clear.

My sole desire between 1981 and 1983 – “Lord, endue me with your wisdom.” I was thanking God this evening. I said, “Jesus, thank you for the wisdom of detailed documentation.” We would have lost this ministry completely. Sermon Times. Thank you for the wisdom of detailed documentation. Otherwise, a pastor rebelled in one of the foreign fields and claimed that he owns the ministry. But when they showed him his letter of appointment, letter of acknowledgement, letter of acceptance…

“This one nko?” Mmm (he couldn’t reply).

There is no explanation in that. You don’t ask for wisdom, you don’t have it. Now, that was from the onset. That was a 1985 pastor. Wake up my friend!

There is no wisdom on Earth that will ever compare with wisdom from above. None. None! Sermon Times. Whatever is from above is above all. So seek wisdom from above. It will impart on your family, impart on your career, impact on your business. Somebody’s story is changing.
