TOPIC: JUST A CIGARETTE SPARK: WATCH IT
BASIC SCRIPTURES: MICAH 5:3, JOHN 1:43-51
The news came as a shock but it was real and true that a carelessly discarded cigarette was the cause of the most recent huge California fire. The wildfire spread over a 200-mile region north of san Francisco from Napa in the south to Redding in the north, taxing firefighting resources.

Wonders! Is it not amazing that just a common, discarded cigarette stick could cause a little spark that led to mass destruction? And likewise, the Holy Ghost wants you to know that in this year 2018, it is the little things that make big things happen! The Lord wants you to know that while it may seem small, the ripple effects of small things are extraordinary. Small things can cause the defeat of destinies! Also, small things can cause the promotion of destinies.
Don’t forget that Bethlehem was the smallest city in Judah, yet Jehovah God decided to change the destiny of this world through that little despised Bethlehem just like Nazareth (John 1:46)! See Micah 5:2- “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel….” No wonder the bible says that:” For who hath despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel…” (zec.4:10).

Note also, “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase” (Job 8:7). In 2018, never despise little things! Just a little lie, immorality, anger, careless sleep, gossip, etc, can become THE LITTLE FOXES that can disgrace (spoil) your vine (your life) – (song of sol; 2:15). Use today’s devotional to do a search on the little things you do around your life and ministry. Watch it! They may make or mar you! Peace!

1. Thank God for today’s word and pray as you are led!
2. Holy Ghost, multiply every little thing around my life today! Turn them to something big.
3. Oh Lord, announce and decorate my little “NAZARETH” for the world to see.
4. O you little foxes, you will not spoil my vine (destiny). Mention any secret sin or habit now.
5. Pray about today seriously and any other issue(s) affecting your peace.
