TOPIC: 2ND LAW OF HARVEST: START FROM WHERE YOU ARE!
Welcome to today’s devotional hour with the God that is called, “IAM THAT I AM.” When God introduced Himself to Moses, He didn’t call Himself, “I WAS THAT I WAS” nor did He say, “I WILL BE WHOIWILL BE.” He said, “I AM THAT I AM” meaning, “I DWELL IN THE NOW” and though your past may have been messed up or your future may seem gloomy, I Can Always Start You Off Again From Where You Are And With What You Have! That was why He asked Moses in vs. 2 of today’s scripture, “What is that in thine hand?” He was ready to make Moses great with what he had! God is not concerned with what you have lost in your past or with all the past disappointments! He is using me to ask you, “What is that in thine hand?” Stop regretting your past or wishing about the future! Don’t worry about those that are ahead of you! He is asking you again: “What is that in thine hand?” What do you have presently? It may be small, but God can make it big! No wonder Ken Keys Jr, said, “To be upset over what you don’t have is to waste what you have.” Opportunity is always where you are and never where you were! Almost everything great comes from nothing! Job 26: 7 says, “He stretched out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.” That means God started this great earth from NOTHING and He can start you from NOTHING again!
