But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
-
How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
-
For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
-
For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
-
For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
PRAYER POINTS

Father, I thank You that the ministration of the Spirit is more glorious than the ministration of death.

Key Verse: 2 Corinthians 3:17 — “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
The Ministration of Death (Verse 7):
Paul refers to the old covenant — the law given on Mount Sinai. It was written and engraven in stones. It was glorious. It was from God. It was holy, just, and good. The face of Moses shone when he received it. The children of Israel could not look at him. The glory was real. But it was the ministration of death. The law revealed sin. It condemned sinners. It brought death. It was glorious, but it was temporary. It was to be done away.
The Ministration of the Spirit (Verse 8):
The new covenant is the ministration of the Spirit. It is not written on stone. It is written on hearts. It does not condemn. It gives life. It does not bring death. It brings righteousness. It is far more glorious. The glory of the new covenant exceeds the glory of the old. The law was glorious. Grace is more glorious. The law brought death. Grace brings life. The law condemned. Grace justifies. The law was temporary. Grace is eternal.
The Veil (Verses 13-15):
Moses put a veil over his face. The glory was fading. He did not want the people to see the fading of that which was temporary. He wanted to hide the fact that the glory was passing away. But their minds were blinded. They could not see. They could not understand. They could not perceive. The veil remained. It was not just a physical veil. It was a spiritual veil. It was a veil on their hearts. They read the old covenant, but they did not see Christ. They saw the law, but they did not see the grace. The veil was untaken away. It was not removed. It remained.
When It Shall Turn to the Lord (Verse 16):
The veil is taken away when the heart turns to the Lord. It is not taken away by intellect. It is not taken away by study. It is not taken away by effort. It is taken away by turning. Turning to the Lord. Turning from the law. Turning from self. Turning from sin. Turning from religion. Turning to Christ. When that happens, the veil is removed. The blindness is gone. The mind is opened. The heart is unveiled. The glory is seen.
Where the Spirit of the Lord Is (Verse 17):
The Lord is that Spirit. The Spirit brings liberty. Liberty from the law. Liberty from sin. Liberty from condemnation. Liberty from fear. Liberty from bondage. Liberty from death. Liberty from the veil. Where the Spirit is, there is freedom. Not license. Freedom. The freedom to be who God created you to be. The freedom to walk in righteousness. The freedom to live in the Spirit. The freedom to behold the glory.
Changed From Glory to Glory (Verse 18):
We all, with open face, behold the glory of the Lord. No veil. No fear. No condemnation. We look into the mirror of His glory. And as we look, we are changed. We are transformed. We are conformed to His image. Not all at once. Not instantly. But from glory to glory. Step by step. Day by day. Moment by moment. It is a process. It is a journey. It is a transformation. And it is done by the Spirit of the Lord. He is the one who changes us. He is the one who conforms us. He is the one who makes us like Christ. The Spirit of the Lord.

Is there a veil over your heart? Have you turned to the Lord? Are you walking in the liberty of the Spirit? Are you beholding His glory and being changed into His image from glory to glory?
