ACTS 2:1-8 (KJV)

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvellED, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

ROMANS 8:26-27 (KJV)

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

PRAYER POINTS (16th January 2026)

1. PRAYER FOR UNITY: Father, just as the disciples were in one accord on Pentecost, unite my family, my church, and my community in purpose and love. Break every spirit of division and discord. (Acts 2:1)

2. PRAYER FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT’S FILLING: Lord, baptize me afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Let the fire of Pentecost fall upon me and purify me, empowering me for effective witness. (Acts 2:3-4)

3. PRAYER FOR SUPERNATURAL COMMUNICATION: Holy Spirit, grant me utterance to speak Your truth with clarity and power. Open doors for the gospel to be understood across cultural and linguistic barriers. (Acts 2:4, 6, 8)

4. PRAYER FOR DIVINE ASSISTANCE: Spirit of God, help my weaknesses today. In areas where I feel inadequate, uncertain, or weary, be my strength and wisdom. (Romans 8:26)

5. PRAYER FOR PERFECT INTERCESSION: When I don’t know how to pray or what to ask for, intercede through me with groanings too deep for words. Align my prayers perfectly with God’s will. (Romans 8:26-27)

6. PRAYER FOR A HEART SEARCHED BY GOD: Father, search my heart. Remove anything that hinders the Spirit’s work in me. Let the mind of Christ be formed in me through Your Spirit. (Romans 8:27)

7. PRAYER FOR HEAVENLY MANIFESTATION: Lord, let there be a “suddenly” from heaven in my situation. Bring a divine visitation that changes atmospheres and alters destinies for Your glory. (Acts 2:2)

DECLARATIONS (16th January 2026)

1. I DECLARE that I am in unity with the body of Christ, walking in one accord and one purpose with my brothers and sisters.

2. I DECLARE that I am filled with the Holy Spirit! The fire of God rests upon me, purifying me and empowering me for supernatural service.

3. I DECLARE that I have divine utterance. The Spirit gives me the words to speak to every person I encounter, breaking through every barrier.

4. I DECLARE that the Holy Spirit is my helper. In my weakness, He is my strength. In my confusion, He is my clarity. In my weariness, He is my renewal.

5. I DECLARE that my prayers are effective and powerful because the Spirit Himself intercedes for me according to the perfect will of God.

6. I DECLARE that my heart is open to God’s searchlight. He knows my deepest thoughts and aligns them with His purposes for my life.

7. I DECLARE that I am experiencing a “Pentecost moment” today! Sudden breakthroughs, divine encounters, and heavenly manifestations are my portion.
