Verse 5 of today’s SCRIPTURE says, “In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, ‘Ask what I shall give thee.” Today’s devotional is for those who are tired of routine religion and are ready to provoke heaven! In the scripture we read, note that God did not send an angel. GOD HIMSELF APPEARED TO SOLOMON and told him: “ASK WHAT I SHALL GIVE THEE!” Ah! When last did Jehovah step down and say to a man, “What do you want?” Remember, Solomon DID NOT pray! He didn’t fast! He didn’t even ask! All he did was SACRIFICE DANGEROUSLY! It was a sacrifice that shook the heavens and triggered a divine visitation. Solomon gave 1,000 burnt offerings, not out of convenience, but out of covenant understanding! Listen: There is a kind of giving that attracts God’s attention! There is a kind of sacrifice that stops angels and makes the King of Glory rise from His throne! God said (paraphrased), “This kind of sacrifice cannot be ignored.” Even when Solomon didn’t make a request, heaven couldn’t keep quiet! That night, Jehovah came to him and said (paraphrased), “You didn’t ask, but I MUST RESPOND!” In this year 2026, I prophesy: “Your next act of obedience, your next sacrifice, will provoke God to come down!” I prophesy: You shall not spend your money on the devil’s altar of sickness, accidents, incurable diseases, wicked court cases, etc, this year! This is not motivational talk because your God is not partial and He is not a respecter of persons! This is a spiritual law! When your altar speaks louder than your words, your sacrifice becomes your prayer! David told Araunah, “I will not offer to God what costs me nothing!” In other words, if it doesn’t pain me, it can’t provoke God! No wonder David never lost a battle! Mother Teresa once said, “When you make a sacrifice, you are giving God something that matters to you, and that is where heaven meets you.” Hear me: This year and this early month of the year, in this 21- day fast, raise an altar that cannot be ignored! Let your sacrifice force a divine consultation and provoke the mercy of God to ask you, “What shall I give you?” Daily Manna Devotional 12th January 2026
