Welcome to today’s DIVINE PERFORMANCE HOUR! What do you do when something that you have been working on for a long time suddenly gets interrupted by some unexpected circumstance? LISTEN TO THIS: Jesus taught His disciples a very important truth: in the world you will have tribulation. There is no amount of fasting and prayer that will stop tribulation from coming. As long as you are in this world, you can be sure that tribulations will come from all sides. But thank God, He did not end His statement with tribulation. He went ahead to tell them, “BE OF GOOD CHEER, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD…” I prophesy: The OVERCOMING GRACE will never depart from your address! Jesus was saying (paraphrased): “BE OF GOOD CHEER. REST ASSURED THAT by MY GRACE you must OVERCOME THIS WORLD OF BATTLE and you will NEVER END AS A VICTIM OF LIFE.” A.L. Williams said, “You can give in to the failure messages and be a bitter deadbeat of excuses. Or you can choose to be happy and positive and excited about life.” As for me, Bishop Chris, I choose to be happy! Not because I don’t have challenges, but because I know that Jesus Christ, my Lord and my friend, has overcome the world. And if He has overcome the world, any disappointment that may come my way is just a school. Always say to yourself: “EVERY DISAPPOINTMENT HAS AN EXPIRY DATE. AND I WILL STAND MY GROUNDAND REJOICE INTHE LORD UNTILTHAT EXPIRY DATEARRIVES.” Yea! Trust God! 2024 is your year!
