When Kizzy Kinte was born on 12 September 1790, in Spotsylvania, Virginia, United States, her father, Kunta Kinte, was 40 and her mother, Bell Adams Waller, was 43. In Alex Haley’s classic award-winning book, “ROOTS,”she wanted to slip the bonds of slavery and live freely, as her ancestors had done in Africa. But she couldn’t. She was born of a slave woman and in those terrible days of bondage, she was destined to live as a slave! Kizzy’s parentage, over which she had no control,dictated her destiny! Wow! Did you get that? Kizzy Kinte wanted to derobe from slavery and put on the garment of freedom, but she could not! And the Holy Ghost wants you to know that salvation from the slavery of sin to all of God’s promises is like moving from Egypt to Canaan – THE PROMISED LAND! You were delivered from Egypt (the bondage of ADAM) at Calvary’s cross to enable you enter your Canaan! I decree that CALVARY will not be in vain! It was an operation of two-in-one: FROM and INTO! From EGYPT INTO CANAAN! Just as God called Abram in Genesis 12: 1 – “…Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee.” Note: OUT and note: UNTO! There is no EMPTY SPACE in your REDEMPTION! You are either IN or OUT and if you are IN, then all the benefits of CALVARY’s CROSS must manifest in your life, family and ministry! You are now a citizen of heaven and whatever is not planted by your Father God is not your name…(To be continued tomorrow). Arise and pray now: EGYPT IS NOT MY NAME!
