PART TWO: COMMENTARY ON THE MESSAGE
Introduction: The Uncertainty of the Journey
One of the most common struggles believers face is uncertainty about direction. “Is this God’s will?” “Am I on the right path?” “What comes next?” These questions can paralyze progress and steal peace.
Andrew Wommack addresses this struggle with a simple but profound truth: “You don’t need the whole road map—just your next step.” This perspective shifts the focus from the overwhelming totality of the journey to the manageable reality of the present moment.
The Theology of “There”
The teaching title, “Welcome to Your Place Called There,” draws from the many biblical accounts where God called individuals to a place called “there”:
- Abraham was called to go to a place “there” that he would later receive as an inheritance (Hebrews 11:8)
- Joseph was sent “there” through a series of events that ultimately positioned him for destiny
- Israel was led “there” through the wilderness to the Promised Land
“There” represents the destination God has prepared. But the journey to “there” is rarely a straight line, and the map is rarely fully revealed at the outset.
Trusting Without Seeing
The core of Wommack’s message is trusting God even when you cannot see the full picture. This is not blind faith but faith based on the character of God. You may not know the details of the destination, but you know the One who leads you there.
2 Corinthians 5:7 declares, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Walking by faith means taking steps based on God’s Word and His leading, even when your natural eyes cannot see the outcome.
The Result: Supernatural Peace and Provision
When you trust God one step at a time, two supernatural results follow:
Supernatural Peace – The peace that passes all understanding guards your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). You are not anxious about tomorrow because you trust the One who holds tomorrow.
Supernatural Provision – As you walk in obedience, God provides what you need for each step. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides.
One Step at a Time
The emphasis is on “one step of obedience at a time.” You cannot leap to the destination; you must walk the path. But each step of obedience positions you for the next step. Each act of faith prepares you for greater faith.
The Blessings Already Prepared
The message concludes with an assurance: God has already prepared blessings for you. Ephesians 2:10 declares that we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Your “there” is not unknown to God. He has already prepared it. Your role is to walk step by step into what He has already prepared.
PART THREE: DECLARATIONS FOR MARCH 2026

I DECLARE that I do not need to fear the unknown because I know the One who knows!
I DECLARE that this March, I walk step by step into my destiny!
I DECLARE that uncertainty does not paralyze me; it propels me to trust God more!
I DECLARE that I am not overwhelmed by the journey because I focus on the next step!
I DECLARE that God’s guidance is sufficient for every decision I face this month!
I DECLARE that I am exactly where I need to be to get to where I am going!
I DECLARE that my “there” is certain because God is faithful!
PART FOUR: PRAYER FOR THE JOURNEY
Father, I thank You that You are the God who leads. You led Abraham to a place he did not know. You led Israel through a wilderness they had not traveled. You led Joseph through trials to a throne.
Lord, I confess that sometimes I feel unsure about where You are leading me. I want to see the whole map, but You only show me the next step. Help me to trust You even when I cannot see the full picture.
I declare that I will take one step of obedience at a time. I will not be paralyzed by what I do not know; I will be propelled by what I do know—that You are faithful, that You are good, that You have prepared blessings for me.
Give me supernatural peace as I walk this journey. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind. Give me supernatural provision for every need along the way.
I trust You with my “there.” I trust You with my destination. I trust You with my future.
