ABOUT THE CONVENER: APOSTLE EDU JEDIDIAH UDECHUKWU
Apostle Edu Jedidiah Udechukwu is an international preacher, apostle, teacher of the word of God, revivalist, discipler, and prophet. He is the President, Founder, and Overseer of Revival Hub Ministries International, with headquarters in Nkwo Nnewi, Anambra State, and branches in Enugu State, Nigeria .
EARLY LIFE AND CALLING
Born on 26th June into the family of Late Rev. Dr. Josiah Udechukwu and Rev. Mrs. Ogochukwu Udechukwu, both indigenes of Akaboezem, Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State, Apostle Edu was raised in a devout Christian home. As the firstborn among five children, he carried the mantle of pacesetting from his early years .
He completed his basic education and proceeded to Dennis Memorial Grammar School for his secondary education. He later studied Food Science and Technology at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka .
During his university years, he served in ministry as an Ushering Department Leader, Cell Leader, and Pastor from 2008 to 2014. It was during this season that an undying hunger for God drove him to the backsides of the mountain, where he began to learn the ways of fasting and prayer. Consistency in seeking, cries of the spirit, and desperation led to a dramatic encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in his hostel room on campus. This encounter became the hallmark and true beginning of his journey into a sent ministry .
NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE AND THE BIRTH OF REVIVAL
Apostle Edu completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where he served as the State Prayer Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Corpers’ Fellowship (NCCF) from 2014 to 2015. It was during this year that he entered what he describes as “the wombs of revival”—experiencing groanings, travails, sighs, weeping, and agonies of the Spirit. These were the birthpangs that shaped his ministry .
Dissatisfaction awakened in his soul regarding his life, purpose, destiny, and the execution of the visions he had received from God. Clad with zeal and burning hunger, he set his face as flint and sought the Lord in new depths. With much prayer, fasting, and study, he consumed the books of Leonard Ravenhill, E.M. Bounds, Charles Finney, Daniel Nash, and others. Bound to his altar, he groaned and travailed in abandoned buildings for hours and days, waiting upon the Lord .
THE BIRTH OF REVIVAL HUB INTERNATIONAL
In 2019, following divine directions and heavenly encounters, Apostle Edu Udechukwu founded Revival Hub Ministries International. The ministry is a fellowship of believers in Christ Jesus with the desire to establish the kingdom of our Lord through the intense workings of the Holy Spirit in and through men. It is widely recognized for its stewardship of abundant grace in prayer, with emphasis on the intense working of the Holy Spirit .
The ministry operates on three foundational pillars: PRAYER, PURITY, and POWER—a foundation that translates from time to eternity .
Since its inception, Apostle Edu has been in full-time service as the President, overseeing many apostolic centers locally, nationally, and internationally .

SPIRITUAL FATHER AND MENTOR
Apostle Edu Udechukwu is a spiritual son and mentee to the revered Apostle Arome Osayi. He has accorded his growth in ministry and spiritual grace to the graciousness of God through the life of Apostle Arome Osayi, who has mentored and fathered many spiritual sons. These include Apostle Mike Orokpo, Minister Theophilus Sunday, Apostle Joel Ogebe, Reverend Tolu Agboola, Reverend Austin Ukporhe, and many others .
Through submission and mentorship, Apostle Edu has grown in ministry and spiritual grace to the graciousness of God .
FAMILY LIFE
Apostle Edu Udechukwu is happily married to his heartthrob, Pastor Mrs. Vera Udechukwu (Nee Obi). They were united in holy matrimony in September 2022. In September 2023, God blessed their union with a son .
Videos of Apostle Edu praying with his young son during 24-hour prayer sessions have circulated widely, demonstrating his commitment to raising the next generation in the altar of prayer .
RECENT DEVELOPMENTS: A SEASON OF WITHDRAWAL
In a significant development, Apostle Edu Udechukwu announced in August 2025 that he would officially stop accepting ministerial invitations and ministrations beginning from January 2026 until further notice. This announcement was made via his official Facebook page and received massive support from netizens and fellow ministers .
The cleric urged people to visit his website for more information but did not state the specific reasons for this decision. Many commentators described this as “the height of maturity in ministry” and “time to build.” This decision makes the March 2026 “24 Hours With Jesus” program particularly significant, as it falls within this new season of focused in-house ministry .
