The key verse today is Verse 15: “And your feet shod with the preparation or readiness of the gospel of peace.”
This is the readiness to eagerly and compassionately share the gospel of peace between God and man (salvation) at every opportunity.
You have lots of believers who are ashamed to declare the gospel to neighbours. But the truth is, the best way to keep anything spiritually is by sharing it.
The more you share or talk about your salvation,the more you keep it.
That’s why the Bible calls it the spiritual shoe of the believer. As you journey through life and walk or run your race, your feet should always be in your shoes, which is preaching the gospel.
It protects you the preacher from dangers, landmines and traps of the enemy. Don’t ever stop the sharing of your faith. In this year 2023, let a new fire kindle in you starting from this week.

The shoe a man wears says a lot about him and no dressing is complete without shoes. So the believer’s dressing is not complete without shoes being on his/her feet. Of course, there are shoes and good shoes are very expensive.
They may not be fanciful, but good shoes are durable. Men’s shoes are more expensive, because they are made to be durable unlike women’s shoes that are mostly fanciful(Oh! Apologies for this unsolicited “shoe school.” Laughs!).
Friends, preaching the gospel or inviting someone to church may not be fanciful, but it is powerful and makes your salvation durable. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Paul said he is not ashamed of the gospel of Christ (Rom.1:16).
