Commentary

Day 4 of our Global Fire Crusade is here. The fire has been falling. Chains have been breaking. Mountains have been shaking. But today, Pastor Jerry Eze declares that no enemy can stand in the way. Not the enemy of sickness, not the enemy of poverty, not the enemy of delay, not the enemy of stagnation – none of them can stand. Why? Because fire clears the way. Fire does not negotiate with obstacles – fire consumes obstacles.

Nothing can stop what God is melting. When God decides to melt a mountain, no force in heaven or earth can prevent it. The mountain may be tall, ancient, and seemingly immovable – but when fire goes before the Lord, mountains melt like wax. Wax does not resist heat; wax surrenders. Your mountains are surrendering.

Let fire clear every mountain. Let the fire fall!

The anchor scripture is Psalm 97:3-5. It describes the presence of the Lord as a consuming fire: “A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His enemies round about.” You do not need to fight your enemies – fire goes before the Lord and burns them up. “The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD.” Not crumbled – melted. Not pushed aside – dissolved. Melted like wax. That is what happens when fire meets mountain.
