Commentary

Today is Day 2 of Operation Clean Up: The New Has Come. Yesterday, Jesus overturned tables and drove out the money‑changers. Today, the focus shifts to Elisha and the waters of Jericho (2 Kings 2:19-22). The men of the city reported that the water was bad and the land was barren – a place of death and unfruitfulness. Elisha did not pray a long prayer. He did not call for a crusade. He simply asked for a new cruse (a new jar) and salt. He threw the salt into the spring and declared, “Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.”

The New Cruse: A “cruse” is a small jar or flask. “New” means fresh, unused, uncontaminated. In this season, God is not patching up the old container. He is giving you a new cruse – a new vessel, a new identity, a new capacity. The old cruse (the old mindset, the old way of doing things, the old level of faith) cannot hold the new salt of His power. He is upgrading your container.

The Salt: Salt speaks of covenant, preservation, healing, and flavour. In the Old Testament, salt was added to offerings (Leviticus 2:13). Jesus called believers “the salt of the earth” (Matthew 5:13). Elisha threw salt into the bitter waters – not because salt naturally purifies poisonous water, but because the salt represented the word and power of God. The moment the salt entered the spring, the source of the problem was healed. Not just the surface – the source.

“There shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.” The water had caused miscarriage, stillbirth, and infertility among livestock and people. It also made the ground unproductive. But after the salt, death and barrenness were permanently removed. This is God’s word for you today: No more death – no premature death, no spiritual death, no death of dreams. No more barrenness – no more fruitlessness in your womb, your business, your ministry, your marriage, your destiny.

Pastor Jerry declares: “You are salt in a new cruse. You are no longer in the old. The old has expired.” That old season of struggle, of waiting, of sickness, of poverty – it has expired. You are not recycling it. You are not trying to fix it. You are moving with a new cruse and new salt.

“Healing flows wherever you go.” Just as the healed waters became a source of life for the whole region, wherever you step – your home, your office, your city – healing flows. You carry the salt of God’s covenant. You are not a victim of your environment; you are a transformer of your environment.

The nine operations for today are designed to enforce this new reality:

• Forceful Manifestation – Not gentle, not gradual. Forceful, like Elisha throwing salt into the spring.
• Now Help – Not later, not tomorrow. Now.
• Confusion in Their Camp – While you advance, the enemy’s plans scatter.
• Everyone in My Family Cross the Line – No one is left on the wrong side of breakthrough.
• Thrones and Crowns – Your royal authority is restored.
• I Escaped – A testimony of deliverance from traps and death.
• Another Door Must Open – When one door closes, a better one appears immediately.
• Obituary Reversed – Every negative report of death or failure is turned into a testimony of life.
• The Battle Has Ended – You are not still fighting; you are celebrating.

The prophetic instructions continue from yesterday: write where you are, prophetically write where you will be by the end of May, download expectation photos, and bring your family and friends.

Declare with finality: “THE OLD IS GONE; MY NEW HAS COME.” Not “the old is leaving” – it is gone. Not “the new is coming” – it has come. The new cruse is in your hand. The salt is in the spring. The waters are healed. Death and barrenness have no more place.
