PART TWO: COMMENTARY – THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
The Urgency of the Moment
We are now in the final stretch of the 28 Days of Wonders. Day 25 is upon us. Only three days remain after today. Pastor Jerry Eze captures the urgency with multiple exclamation marks and urgent declarations: “COUNTING DOWN,” “IT IS SO CLOSE,” “WE CANNOT MISS IT.”
This is not the time to relax. This is not the time to become complacent. The greatest miracle of this entire journey may be reserved for these final days. The enemy would love for you to lose focus now, to become weary now, to miss your visitation now. But you must press in. The finish line is in sight.
The Return to Mercy
Interestingly, after weeks of themes like evidence, glory, and help, Day 25 returns to where it all began: MERCY. The first days of this journey were centered on mercy. Now, in the final days, mercy is being invoked again.
This is significant because mercy is not just for the beginning of the journey; it is for the entire journey. You need mercy to start, and you need mercy to finish. You need mercy to receive the promise, and you need mercy to steward it. Mercy bookends the Christian life.
The Cry of Desperation
The declaration for today is raw and urgent: “EL-ROI, EL-ROI, EL-ROI, PLEASE SHOW ME MERCY. HELP ME. PLEASE HELP ME, I NEED YOU NOW.”
The triple repetition of EL-ROI—the God who sees—indicates intensity. This is not a casual prayer; it is a desperate cry. It is the cry of someone who has come to the end of themselves. It is the cry of someone who knows that without divine intervention, all is lost.
“I NEED YOU NOW” – Not later. Not tomorrow. Not eventually. NOW. There is an immediacy to this prayer that reflects the urgency of the moment. Some needs cannot wait. Some situations require instant intervention.
The Foundation: Psalm 25:6
David prays: “Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.”
This prayer acknowledges two things:
God’s mercies are tender – Not harsh, not cold, not distant. They are gentle, compassionate, and personal.
God’s mercies are ancient – “They have been ever of old.” This is not a new discovery. God has always been merciful. From generation to generation, His mercy endures. The same mercy that saved David can save you. The same mercy that delivered Israel can deliver you.
PART THREE: THE NINE OPERATIONS OF MERCY
1. Operation Quick MERCY Intervention
This is a prayer for sudden breakthroughs. Not gradual improvement, but QUICK intervention. When mercy moves quickly, situations change rapidly. Walls fall suddenly. Chains break instantly. Doors open immediately.
Declaration: Father, let Your mercy intervene QUICKLY in every situation that has lingered too long.
2. Operation Wipe Away Every Bitter Tears
Tears are the evidence of pain. Bitter tears are the evidence of deep, unresolved hurt. This operation targets the source of those tears. Mercy does not just wipe the tears; it addresses the reason for the tears.
Declaration: Father, by Your mercy, wipe away every bitter tear from my eyes. Heal the wounds that produce them.
3. Operation Dry up Negativity
Negativity is a spirit that drains faith, kills hope, and magnifies problems. It comes through negative thoughts, negative words, negative associations, and negative expectations. This operation dries up negativity at its root. It silences the voice of the accuser. It floods your mind with the light of God’s promises.
Declaration: Father, let Your mercy dry up every source of negativity in my life. Let faith and hope flourish.
4. Operation Open New Chapters
Many have been stuck in the same chapter for too long—a chapter of sorrow, a chapter of struggle, a chapter of waiting. This operation opens a NEW CHAPTER. Not a revised edition of the old, but a completely new narrative. A chapter of joy. A chapter of testimony. A chapter of laughter.
Declaration: Father, by Your mercy, open new chapters in my life. Close every old chapter of pain.
5. Operation Open The Heavens
When the heavens are open, divine resources flow down. Revelation increases. Provision multiplies. Direction becomes clear. This operation prays for an open heaven over your life—over your home, your business, your ministry, your family.
Declaration: Father, let Your mercy open the heavens over me. Let blessings rain down without measure.
6. Operation Shift You Forward
Many have been stuck in the same place—same level, same position, same circumstances. This operation shifts you FORWARD. Not sideways. Not backward. FORWARD. Progress. Advancement. Momentum.
Declaration: Father, by Your mercy, shift me forward. Let me move from where I am to where I need to be.
7. Operation Take Away The Evil Garments
Garments represent identity and covering. Evil garments include shame, disgrace, reproach, and humiliation. This operation removes them completely. It tears off the clothing of the past and replaces it with the garment of praise.
Declaration: Father, take away every evil garment I am wearing. Clothe me with the garment of praise and the robe of righteousness.
8. Operation Terminate The Journey Of Negativity
Some people have been on a journey—a trajectory of negativity, failure, and disappointment. This operation TERMINATES that journey. It stops the trajectory. It ends the pattern. It cancels the destination.
Declaration: Father, terminate every negative journey in my life. Let the trajectory change NOW.
9. Operation Place A New Crown On My Head
A crown represents authority, honour, and victory. This operation places a NEW crown—not the old one that was lost or stolen, but a new one. Fresh honour. Fresh authority. Fresh victory.
Declaration: Father, place a new crown on my head. Let me walk in fresh honour and authority.
PART FOUR: PROPHETIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR DAY 25
1. Keep Declaring the 10 Declarations Every Day
Do not stop now. The 10 Declarations have been your daily confession throughout this journey. They have built your faith, aligned your words with God’s Word, and created an atmosphere for breakthrough. The final days are not the time to become silent; they are the time to declare LOUDER.
2. Bring Every Negative Report to the Altar of Mercy
What negative reports are you carrying? Medical reports that speak of disease. Financial reports that speak of lack. Academic reports that speak of failure. Relational reports that speak of rejection. Bring them ALL to the altar of mercy. Lay them down. Let mercy speak over them.
3. Bring Your Wonder List
Your Wonder List is the written record of every area that must become a wonder. By Day 25, some items may have been crossed off as testimonies. Others may still be pending. Bring the entire list before the Lord again. Review it. Pray over it. Expect that before this 28-day journey ends, every item will become a testimony.
4. Your Mantle Must Be With You Always
The mantle represents your covering, your authority, your identity, and your inheritance. Do not abandon it now. The final days are when the mantle is most active. It carries the accumulated fire of 24 days of prayer. It is saturated with the glory of previous encounters.
5. You Cannot Afford to Be Alone
The final stretch is not the time for isolation. The enemy attacks hardest when the finish line is in sight. You need the body of Christ. You need the prayers of others. You need the encouragement of fellow believers. Reach out. Connect. Pray together.

Prayer 1: The Cry for Mercy
EL-ROI! EL-ROI! EL-ROI!
You are the God who sees me. You saw Hagar in the wilderness. You saw Israel in Egypt. You saw David in the cave. And You see me today.
I cry out for Your mercy. Not justice—mercy. Not what I deserve—mercy. Not according to my works—mercy.
Show me mercy, Lord. Intervene quickly. Wipe away my tears. Dry up negativity. Open new chapters. Open the heavens. Shift me forward. Remove evil garments. Terminate negative journeys. Place a new crown on my head.
I NEED YOU NOW. Not later. Not tomorrow. NOW.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 2: Prayer Over Negative Reports
Father, I bring every negative report to Your altar. Every word spoken against my health, my finances, my family, my future. I lay them down before You.
Let mercy speak over these reports. Let mercy override every diagnosis. Let mercy cancel every verdict. Let mercy rewrite every conclusion.
What the enemy meant for evil, turn for my good. What was spoken to destroy me, let it become the foundation for my testimony.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 3: Prayer for the Wonder List
Father, I bring my Wonder List before You. Every item on this list represents an area that must become a wonder. I have waited. I have prayed. I have declared. Now, Lord, I ask for manifestation.
Let every remaining item on this list become a testimony before these 28 Days end. Let nothing be left unfinished. Let nothing be carried over.
I trust You to do what only You can do.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 4: Prayer for the Mantle
Father, I thank You for the mantle You have placed upon my life. Let it be activated afresh today. Let it carry the fire of 24 days of prayer. Let it release healing, deliverance, and breakthrough wherever I go.
I receive fresh oil upon my mantle. I receive fresh fire. I receive fresh glory.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer 5: Prayer for the Body
Father, I pray for every NSPPDian around the world. Those who have been praying faithfully. Those who are weary but still pressing. Those who are believing for their own miracles.
Strengthen them. Encourage them. Let them not miss their visitation. Let them finish this race strong.
And let the unity of the body release a harvest that none of us could achieve alone.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
