ODM Daily Online 5th April 2023 – MOVED FROM THIRD CLASSC TO FIRST CLASS: HIS ATMOSPHERE CHANGED – 1 Welcome to today’s devotional! On December 9th, 2022, moment of happiness regarding what has now become a major milestone in his academic pursuit.
Hear him: “10 years ago, precisely in 2012, I graduated with a THIRD CLASS from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. And 10 years after, I have now graduated with a First Class degree from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.” While he studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering at OAU, he majored in Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire. Both degrees are BSc.
And this has made many to wonder what changed in his academic story. Ibukun said: It is never too late to go back to school if you didn’t do well in your first attempt.” And what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is: “WATCH OUT FOR YOUR ASSOCIATIONS AND YOUR ATMOSPHERE! YOUR ATMOSPHERE CAN DETERMINE YOUR OUTPUT.” The lesson from today’s devotional is that
environments can affect people negatively or positively.
Yes, where you are and the people around you can affect your output in life and ministry. For example, a fantastic pastor with the “wrong” members will struggle in ministry! Whereas, an “average” pastor
with highly supportive members will excel! This applies to all spheres of human endeavour! Indeed, your location determines your allocation!

“Buried” inside Mofesola was a First Class brain, but he ended up with a Third Class in OAU, NIGERIA, until he changed his atmosphere. His movement to the UK brought out the First Class in him.
This new learning and academic environment, with probably better teaching methods may have sharpened his intellect and brought out the best in him. - LORD, there shall be results this year; the best in my career, ministry, academnics and business shall manifest by fire.
