A woman in Delta State, NIGERIA, was in rage after meeting her husband with another woman in their matrimonial bed. In her anger, she picked up a machete, cut her husband, then went to the woman and also killed her. Just as a neighbour rushed in to intervene, she also cut the neighbour, killing all three of them. She was later arrrested! When asked how she could have killed three people at a go, she was reported as saying, “I don’t know what got into me.” Wow! She lost control of herself! Yea! The enemy entered through the open door of unchecked anger! Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.” Why? Because that PLACE is what the devil needs; a foothold of bitterness, jealousy, unforgiveness, and bottled-up pain. When it explodes, it doesn’t discriminate; it destroys husband, “side-chick,” wife, innocent neighbours and leaves children as orphans, families shattered, and a community in mourning! Listen: Anger is not sin by itself; even Jesus Christ, was angry, but anger that has no boundaries to what it can say or do… that anger is a demonic invitation! That woman didn’t plan to become a killer; she didn’t wake up saying, “Today I will end three lives.” But the devil already prepared that future for her! James 1:20 thunders, “For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” I hear the LORD, speaking: 33,650 souls using today’s devotional are living in bitterness! The Lord Says, “Let Go Now Or It Will Block Your Years Of Labour/Waiting For Me! Yes! It Will Extend Your Season To Dance! Let Go Now! And Let Me Search It Out!” Declare aloud now: “I shall not be a victim of anger without boundaries!” WATCH AND PRAY! Hold on! Hold Out!
