TOPIC: THE LEPERS: SHAME IS OVER!
BASIC SCRIPTURE: LUKE 17:11-19
Has God ever asked you to do something unreasonable? You knew that if you have stepped out and done that thing, everyone would have called you stupid, crazy and dump? Well the ten lepers in today’s scriptures were asked to do the most unreasonable thing they had ever done. It wasn’t just unreasonable, it was risky! In old testaments times, a leper could only show himself/herself to the priest if he was healed and cleansed. Jesus did not touch these ten lepers he did not pray for them to go and wash somewhere first ( like NAAMAN). Seed this ODM Daily 10 April HERE

He just said, go and show yourself to the priests” (verse 14). Mighty God, these lepers stepped out in obedience and verse 14 tells us, “As they went, they were cleansed.” Note: As they went…! They had to obey FIRST BEFORE RESULTS FOLLOWED! What has God told you to go and do? It is time to step out and do it whether it make sense to you or not! God is never going to tell you to do something that will fail! When he told Moses to stretch out the rod over the red sea, it was a stupid thing to do! It was unreasonable, but that step of faith released enough power to creat an expressway through the red sea.
When he told Isaac to stay in the land of famine and so it was a risky, stupid and dangerous thing to do. It was unreasonable, but that one step of faith turn Isaac into a wealthiest man in the land. He became so wealthy that the philistines began to envy him. Oh, hear Martin Luther king Jr. “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”Then Kenneth Copeland wrote: “When you decide to work by faith, you don’t get rid of trails.
