TOPIC: THE HUNGRY LEOPARD AND THE DOG! DO NOT LOSE YOUR FREEDOM TO DOGS! – 1
In Karnataka, India, at the Kombaru shrine, an unusual event took place involving a leopard and a dog. The leopard wanted to feed on the dog. But the dog was not willing to be a meal for any predator. An expected chase started! Yes! The leopard gave a heated chase after the dog. During the chase, both animals ended up stuck in a bathroom, unable to get out. Suddenly, the hungry leopard was no longer attempting to devour the dog anymore. As a matter of fact, both of them sat idly at the two ends of the bathroom. People started to wonder why the hungry leopard didn’t just devour the dog first before sitting idly and waiting for an exit door. Experts later explained that the leopard’s desire for freedom was stronger than its hunger, which was why it didn’t attack the dog! They theorized that wild animals, like the leopard, have a deep need for freedom. When their freedom is restricted, it can affect them deeply, even causing them to forget about their basic needs, like food. Edwin Louis Cole said, “Satan uses bait to create a snare to lead you away from God’s purposes.” Yes! There are too many “Leopard Christians” chasing dogs of pleasure into a trap and snare of their own captivity! By the time they fall into the trap or snare, they realise they have strayed far from the freedom of God. Today’s scripture vs. 1 (ESV) says, “For freedom, Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” In every day of 2026, stop chasing that appetizer (SIN), that dog of pleasure, anger, malice or necessity that is taking you away from God. The devil has a plot to entrap you. Do not let him get you! Close with Thomas Jefferson, “The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.” Declare to yourself 9 times now: “Nothing shall steal my freedom and peace! I shall stand in eternal vigilance! Satan you have lost the battle forever concerning my destiny in Jesus name.

freedom. I decree today: No weapon fashioned against my
freedom shall prosper! As I go out today, I shall walk in my
eternal FREEDOM!
