TOPIC: BE YOUR OWN PROPHET!
Vs. 6 of today’s Word says, “And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him…but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” Please note: “But David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” The Holy Ghost wants you to know that there comes a time in your walk with God when you must force yourself to become your own prophet! Wow! The duty of a prophet is to speak a word over you and in your battle against the gates of hell. To be a champion, you must realize that self-encouragement is the greatest encouragement! There are times when you must believe in yourself and you must give yourself a pass mark despite your failures! David encouraged himself, he prophesied to himself, he prayed for himself often! Speak great things concerning your destiny in 2026! Don’t wait for any pastor or prophet to do it for you! Be your own biggest fan! You are your biggest breakthrough key and you are also your biggest breakdown key! “You can’t consistently perform in a manner that is inconsistent with the way you see yourself” (Zig Ziglag). Don’t beat or look down on yourself! Who is above mistakes? Change how you see yourself even in the battle seasons of your life! Change what you say about yourself because your words are prophecies! Hear Sir Edmund Hillary, “It’s not the mountain that we conquer, but ourselves.” God looked at His creation and gave Himself a pass mark! Live like that and like David, be your own prophet. Forgive yourself! Encourage yourself! Praise yourself, family, business or future! Don’t forget: Selfencouragement is the greatest encouragement! Peace!
