Covey who wrote: “Always treat your employees exactly as you want them to treat your best customers.” Today’s first scripture says: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you…” (Matthew 7:12). This is called THE “GOLDEN RULE “of life! No matter your level in life and ministry, TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED! Remember that WE ARE ALL GLORIFIED DUST and we are all EQUAL IN THE GRAVE! Hear this: Respect is fundamental for human connections, acting as the foundation for trust and empathy in relationships! True respect is earned through character, not power, and begins with valuing oneself. It is a vital, daily choice that fosters c o n n e c t i o n a n d understanding, often shown through listening and humility! In today’ 2nd scripture, we discover that disrespect is not unique to our generation! Apostle Paul, ministered to a culture built on slavery. People will ANGER YOU SOMETIMES! No wonder Laurence Sterne penned: “Respect for ourselves guides our morals; respect for others guides our manners.” Then Albelt Lee quipped: “Excelling in respect for others honors God.” That means when you respect others, you honor God because God made man; it was man that made class! But respect your elders and all governing authorities! These are all part of the golden rule!
