BASIC SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 8:1-11

Basic Scripture: Romans 8:1-11 (NKJV)

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Prayer Points:

1. Thanksgiving for Freedom from Condemnation:

   • Father, I thank You today that because I am in Christ Jesus, there is NO CONDEMNATION over my life. I receive this truth deep into my spirit and reject every voice of accusation from the enemy.

   • Lord, I am grateful for the law of the Spirit of life that has set me free from the cycle of sin and death. Help me to walk in this freedom daily.

2. Prayer for a Spirit-Led Mind and Life:

   • Holy Spirit, I surrender my mind to You. Transform my thinking. Where my mind has been set on carnal things (worries, lusts, fears, pride), redirect it to be set on the things of the Spirit—Your life, peace, and purpose.

   • I choose to walk according to the Spirit today. Guide my decisions, my words, and my reactions. Let my life fulfill Your righteous requirements not by my effort, but by Your power dwelling in me.

3. Declaration Over Your Physical and Spiritual Life:

   • Mighty God, You raised Jesus from the dead. I declare that the same Resurrection Power dwells in me! I pray this life-giving power activates in every area of my being—healing my body, reviving my spirit, renewing my mind, and restoring any dead area in my life, family, or destiny.

   • I affirm that I belong to Christ because His Spirit lives in me. Let this reality govern my identity and actions today.

4. Prayer Against the Carnal Nature:

   • Lord, expose and mortify every tendency of the flesh in me—every thought, desire, or habit that is enmity against You. I crucify the flesh and its passions and choose to be led by Your Spirit, for only in this can I please You.

5. Prayer for the Manifestation of Life and Peace:

   • Father, You promise that a mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. I claim this promise today. Let Your abundant life flow through me to others, and let Your supernatural peace guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, especially as the year ends.

Declarations:

1. I DECLARE that I am in Christ Jesus; therefore, NO CONDEMNATION has any hold over me—not from the past, the present, or the future. I walk in total freedom.

2. I DECLARE that the law of the Spirit of life has liberated me from every chain of sin and death. I am free indeed!

3. I DECLARE that my mind is set on the Spirit. I reject carnal, death-producing thinking. Today, I choose life, peace, and the things that please God.

4. I DECLARE that the Spirit of God who raised Christ from the dead LIVES IN ME. This same resurrection power is at work within me right now, bringing life to my mortal body, health to my bones, and vitality to my soul.

5. I DECLARE that I am not controlled by the flesh but by the Spirit of God. Because I belong to Christ, I have the mind of Christ, and I walk in victory, purpose, and divine favor today.

6. I DECLARE that as 2025 comes to a close, I am moving forward governed by the Spirit, filled with life and peace, ready to step into the new year as more than a conqueror in Him.
