BASIC SCRIPTURE: Prayers and Declarations May 18 2025

📖 BASIC SCRIPTURE: 1 CORINTHIANS 1:25–31 (KJV)
-
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
-
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
-
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
-
And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
-
That no flesh should glory in his presence.
-
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
-
That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

🙏 PRAYERS FOR HUMILITY, PURPOSE & GOD’S GLORY (May 18, 2025)
-
Heavenly Father, I thank You for calling me—not because of my strength or wisdom, but out of Your mercy and divine purpose. Let my life always reflect Your glory, and never my own.
-
Lord, I acknowledge that Your wisdom far exceeds mine. I surrender every area where I’ve leaned on my own understanding. Teach me to trust in Your divine strategies and ways.
-
O God, I declare that I will not boast in my achievements or abilities. May every success in my life point directly to Your grace, and may I never steal the glory that belongs to You.
-
Father, You have chosen the weak to shame the strong. Use me, despite my limitations, to carry out Your mighty plans on earth. Let me be a vessel of divine power in Jesus’ name.
-
My Redeemer, when the world says I am not qualified, remind me that You have qualified me by Your call. Let the anointing of purpose overshadow every sense of inadequacy in my life.
-
Lord Jesus, thank You for being made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Let this divine identity define how I live and what I pursue every day.
-
Holy Spirit, guard my heart against pride. Let my soul always remember that it is not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit that I stand and succeed.
-
Father, I pray that my life will be a testament that You raise the humble and bring purpose out of broken places. Let my testimony confound the expectations of the world.
-
Jehovah God, where I have been despised, ignored, or rejected, let Your glory arise and shine through me, silencing every voice of mockery and shame.
-
O Lord, take all the glory for every breakthrough, open door, and answered prayer in my life. Let no flesh glory in Your presence. All praise belongs to You alone, my King.
