Welcome! The experience that brought you to Christ may be different from that of others. Yes! We all have different stories to tell concerning how we were saved, but there is one thing we have in common and that is, that we came to the knowledge of Christ through the effort of others such as parents, pastors, Sunday school teachers, Bible club leaders, friends and books. Research has shown that the Body of Christ grows through “an unbroken chain of teachers.” Recall that Jesus Christ is the greatest teacher that ever lived, and He raised 12 disciples who became apostles and they increased to become 120 disciples who met in the upper room! The chain continued until the days of the early church which ushered in the era of the church fathers and the baton was handed over and over till this present day. Timothy became a believer through the influence of his grandmother Lois, his mother Eunice and the teaching of Paul (Vs. 5 of today’s 1st scripture). Vs 2 of today’s second scripture says: “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also”. The “faithful men” here implies not only church elders, but committed Christians. LET GOD USE YOU IN THIS 2ND HALF OF 2023! Be the link in the living chain that extends from the time Jesus lived on earth to the present. Invite people to your local church! Talk about Jesus during your break times! Support mission and your local church outreaches! Pay your Tithes! Join your local church evangelism group! We must keep that chain strong! The gospel is a chain reaction and you must be part of that chain! REFUSE TO GROW WEARY! JESUS WILL COME SOON! Shout MARANATHA (our Lord is coming) 7 TIMES now! Start winning souls today!
