Very surprisingly, Verse 8 of today’s 2nd scripture says: “And the Lord commended the unjust steward because he had done wisely, for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.”

Truly, God knows that His children are “foolish” on planet earth! That is why a child of God who has the opportunity to steal money at his/her place of work will not do it.
That is why a lady will dwell in inconvenience even though there are men who are ready to give her money if she is willing to live in sin. That is why a child of God will determine to wait on God, instead of seeking for help from Egypt!
That is why a child of God will rather stay unmarried in this generation than to marry a Muslim or just anybody (I do not condemn those that have done it)! Indeed, that’s why a serious child of God does not visit native doctors for “quick” solutions!

Yes, there are times you appear as a fool because you are waiting on the Lord, but what the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today’s devotional is that God Will Restore Whatever You Have Lost Due To Your Determination To Obey Him!
The children of this generation might appear wiser and smarter than you, but refuse to envy them or join them. The God called Jehovah (Your God) is not a wicked God!
He knows that your mates or the wicked have excelled by crooked means, but be encouraged to know again that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him and wait for Him! Hold onto Him! He shall restore!
